Our Personal assistants go through an extensive interview process in order for us to provide the outstanding support that we do

*FREE Mini Courses including Green Cross Code, Animal Care, Lambing experience,   Personal Hygiene plus many more. Certificate on completion

Or further more what is an MDC PersonalAssistant??

And what does MDC stand for??

Ok let’s start by explaining the MDC title………..When choosing a name for the business I had a few ideas up my sleeve but I thought what a wonderful idea it would be for me to ask one of my service users for their input…….. in short she decided on “My Darling Cathy”. Yes she spells my name with a “C” instead of a “K” bless her.

So there you have it MDC “My Darling Cathy 
 

What is an MDC personal Assistant??

What do MDC Personal assistants do to go that extra mile??

When we think of personal assistants, some of us may automatically think of someone who tackles paper work and telephone calls……. But a PA for those with a S.E.N.D really do have a lot more to think about and specifically all lead from the heart.

People with S.E.N.D are extra special , they have additional needs and requirements that must be supported by trusted, caring, reliable compassionate people who have extensive experience with this line of work.

These vulnerable people are ever so precious and they deserve to be treated with the utmost respect and dignity in every sense of the words. 

Furthermore they have the right to live the fullest , happiest, lives enriched with and full of variety , engagements and opportunities.

Sadly in a lot of settings, our precious vulnerable people are not treated as such and this is heartbreaking for them and everyone involved in their lives.

Here at MDC PA Services we understand these struggles and requirements and our PAs are the most kind, caring, and compassionate people who provide just this.

It’s paramount to us that our service users stay active and an important part of the community. Always offered the opportunity to partake in social engagements such as Sea Side trips, Theatre, Cinema, Bowling, Pool and snooker, Swimming, Theme parks, festivals and concerts, football matches, recording studios, shopping trips, lunch dates our Monthly Disco and Drop In Service , meeting with friends and much much more!! The sky is literally the limit.

Alongside all of this, we can be a bigger part of our service users lives. Not only supporting them but supporting their families by offering respite, advice, communicating wants and needs or simply just being there as someone to talk to.

Many caregivers may not realise that Personal Assistance can be funded by a service users entitlement to government funding and or their disability allowances. This is a very simple process and those who have taken this step have never looked back. We can help and support with this also.
So much is on offer when you appoint an MDC PA.

All our PAs go through an extensive interview process to become a part of the MDC family and are all pure hearted, honest, reliable, kind, compassionate PAs, full of so much fun too!!!!
